What I've been up to
Almost all of my work ships into private repositories. GitHub counts it anyway, so this page does too. The rest of this site is a public register, and these numbers are the argument that the public half is the smaller one.

Thirteen columns for twelve months: a rolling year opens and closes mid-month, so both ends are partial. They are left that way rather than summed into one column, which would be a tidier chart making a claim about Aug that the window cannot support.
The week
Seven averages, closed into a shape. A flat week would draw a regular heptagon; this one does not, and the side it leans on is the answer.

Public and private
The visible part of a year's work, against the part that ships behind a company's closed repositories.

Where the public commits landed
Public repositories only. GitHub’s API does not attribute a private contribution to a repository, so the other 5,708 cannot be itemised here and are not guessed at.

What the work is
Commits are the bulk of it. Reviews and issues are the half of the job that is not typing.
| Kind | 12 months | Since 2020 |
|---|---|---|
| Commits | 305 | 4,832 |
| Pull requests opened | 26 | 300 |
| Pull requests reviewed | 10 | 85 |
| Issues opened | 12 | 174 |
| In private repositories | 5,708 | 13,435 |
Every row but the last counts public work only, which is why the commit figure is a fraction of the total above it.
